Make Sure Your Vote Counts!

To elect our next councilperson, there are two steps—a Primary Election on Tuesday, May 2 and a General Election on Tuesday, November 7.

The Primary Election will have several candidates. The top finisher will be on the ballot in the November General Election.

 

Are You Registered to Vote?

If you’re already registered to vote, you may vote in both the Primary on May 2 and the General Election on November 7. If you are NOT REGISTERED to vote, please click the button below. To vote in the Primary, you MUST register by April 4. To vote in the General Election, you must register by October 7. 

When Can I Vote?

Early voting for the Primary Election begins April 4. You can vote in person at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections (2925 Euclid Ave.) or by mail. Please refer to the Board of Elections website (443VOTE.com) or call 216-443-VOTE (8683) for exact early voting hours. This is the currently announced schedule:

Monday April 24 7:30 a.m – 7:30 p.m
Tuesday April 25 7:30 a.m – 8:30 p.m
Wednesday – Friday April 26-28 7:30 a.m – 7:30 p.m
Saturday April 29 7:30 a.m – 7:30 p.m
Sunday April 30 1:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m
Weekdays* April 4 to April 21
8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m
Monday, April 24

Early voting for the Primary Election begins April 4.

For both elections, you may choose to request a ballot be mailed to you. You may return the ballot via U.S. Mail or at the secure dropbox in the rear parking lot of the Board of Elections. The button below will take you to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website where you will be asked to provide your name and birthday. From there, it will prepare an application that you will need to print, sign and return OR you can request to have the form mailed to you (and you’ll need to sign and return after the application arrives.)

Where Do I Vote?

If you are voting in person, polls open at 6:30AM on election days and close at 7:30PM. As long as you are in line by 7:30PM, you must be allowed to vote. To learn which is your polling location, please click button below.
